DYKES, Barbara W. Scott, age 83, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at her residence. She was born May 1, 1935 in Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School Class of 1953. She was a secretary at Armco, then a mother and homemaker. She also worked for the Medinah Middle School, Medinah, Illinois and Middletown Public Library. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Richard and Deborah Helen (Russell) Scott; her husband, Ron Dykes in 2013; and aunt, Irene Russell She is survived by four children, and four grandchildren. Services will be Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Poasttown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
