SANDLIN, Betty J., age 67, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from a tragic car accident. Betty was born April 12, 1951 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Denval and Marie (Adams) Williams. She graduated from Franklin High School Class of 1969. Betty is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Sandlin; three children, Jennifer, Kevin and Joseph Sandlin all of Middletown; one grandson, Zachary Sandlin, also of Middletown; one sister, Margie (Dick) Arbaugh of Byrdstown, Tennessee; two brothers, Larry (Shannon) Williams of Somerville, Ohio and Roger (Valerie) Williams of west Middletown, Ohio; sister-in-law, Lynn (Scott) Stamper of Preston, Kentucky; and lots of nieces and nephews that adored her, plus extended family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was more than a homemaker, she was everything to her husband and her children and Zach. Betty was the one in the family that was there, for whom ever needed her. She was loved and will be missed more than she could have ever imagined. Visitation will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:30 p.m. with Josh Williams officiating.
