LANE, James Floyd “Bronco”, age 80, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Kettering Hospital where he had been a patient for 2 ½ weeks. He was born January 30, 1939 in Tazwell, Tennessee and moved to Ohio in 1955. He was employed as a millwright for Parchment Paper Company, West Carrollton, Ohio. James was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Miamisburg for 53 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and all kinds of sports. He had eaten at Angie’s Diner in Carlisle for over 40 years. Preceding him in death were his parents, Rev. Rafe and Hester (Lakins) Lane; six brothers, Ivory Gene Lane, Curtis Brooks, James B. Lane, Denny Lane, Sidney Lane and Robert Lane; and three sisters, Floella Burns, Marcella Potter, and Macey Lane. He is survived by three children, David (Judy) Helton, Edith Stearns and Bronco (Lisa) Lane; thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister, Carrie Purvis; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
