ELLIOTT, Jane, age 69, of Trenton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her residence. She was born March 6, 1952 in Hamilton, Ohio and lived in this area all her life. She attended Trenton Schools, Trenton, Ohio. Jane Gilbert and Merle Elliott were united in marriage December 5, 1972. She loved her family with all her heart and loved spending time with them. She tried to treat all people with respect. She loved to laugh, although sometimes her jokes weren’t even funny—especially to Merle—which made her laugh even more! Preceding her in death were her parents, Ervie Ray and Carol Jane Gilbert; one son, Jason Eugene Elliott in 2007; one nephew, Billy Ray Bays in 1998; and one brother, Ray Gilbert in 2021. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Merle Elliott; one daughter, Stacy Elliott; two grandchildren, Tatum and Serenity; and one sister, Marsha Bays. Graveside Services will be Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Hickory Flat Cemetery, St. Clair Township, near Trenton, Ohio with Hospice Chaplain Tom Myers officiating.
