SOHRENSSEN, Jerry C., age 65, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 5, 1955 in Middletown and lived here all his life. He graduated from Zanesville High School Class of 1973. Jerry was employed as a fork lift operator at Mitsubishi Electric in Mason, Ohio for 30 years retiring in 2018. He was a NASCAR fan and an avid Ohio State sports fan. Preceding him in death were his parents, Carlos and Evelyn (Drake) Sohrenssen; his wife, Terry Sohrenssen in 2018; and one brother, Steve Sohrenssen. He is survived by one son, Carl F. (Kimberly) Sohrenssen; three grandchildren, Steven Sohrenssen, Sara Sohrenssen and C.J. Sohrenssen; one brother, Rick (Cindy) Sohrenssen; one sister, Cathy (Dennis) Donovan; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Private services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
