HAMBLIN, Jessie I., age 85, of Trenton, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Springhills of Middletown where she had resided since November. She was born April 4, 1936 in Manchester, Kentucky and moved to Ohio when she was 18 years old. She was employed in Data Entry at Mosler Safe for 12 years and served as a nurse’s aide at Otterbein Home in Lebanon for five years. Jessie was a volunteer EMT for the City of Trenton Fire Department. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Hamilton. She enjoyed crocheting and flower and vegetable gardening. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jesse and Sarah Etta (McDaniel) Lewis; her husband, William P. Hamblin I 1997; one brother, Patrick Lewis; and one sister, Linda Sandlin. She us survived by two children, Gwendolyn Hamblin Wright ( and partner Tom Pennington) and William Hamblin; one grandson, Jeffrey Mark Wright (wife Jaime); two great grandchildren, Jeffrey Pierce Wright and Coryn Wright; two sisters, Catherine Napier and Lillie Lewis; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Private services at the convenience of the family. Interment at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Animal Friends Humane Society, 1820 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S.
