EDWARDS, Lula Catherine “Kay”, age 80, of Middletown, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at Carlisle Manor where she had resided for five years. She was born August 20, 1941 in Wolfe County, Kentucky and moved to Ohio in 1985. She was a mother, grandmother and homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and making candies. She loved animals. Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy and Carmen (Lacy) Brewer; one son, Donald Wayne Brewer 11-29-2021; three sisters, Roslynn Young, Gladys Little and R. Gayle Bailey. She is survived by three sons, Joseph Scott (Rhoda) Maggard, John Gerald Edwards and Charles Ray (Diana) Edwards; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with her son, Bro. Joe Maggard officiating. Interment will be at Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, Ohio.
